Why Azhagiapandipuram?

Our decision to establish a factory in Azhagiapandipuram is a blend of strategic and community-driven reasons. Situated in the far south of India, in Tamil Nadu, the region is known for its vast cotton plantations and an abundance of local suppliers, making it an ideal location for our operations.

However, beyond logistics, Azhagiapandipuram is a village where we can still make a real difference. While it’s somewhat disconnected from the major industrial cities (though the Indian government is improving infrastructure), the people here have limited opportunities to work with international companies. This is where we come in.

The Tamil people are often known for their gentle nature and strong family values. Additionally, the caste system plays a lesser role here than in many other parts of India. In other regions, there’s often a noticeable lack of respect towards lower castes, or an air of arrogance among those who have achieved success. In Azhagiapandipuram, this is much less prevalent, and we ensure that our management team never acts superior, instead working closely alongside the people.

By establishing our factory here, we not only benefit from the local resources but also contribute to uplifting the community, creating opportunities where they’re needed most.
